Young H. Kim, DC

    Dr. Young H. Kim completed his undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He went on the attend Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas where he graduated at the top of his class and completed his internship at the Parker College Outpatient Clinic.

    Dr. Kim is an expert in the treatment of structural degenerative conditions resulting in spinal compromise such as spondylosis, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis as well as functional neuromuscular conditions ranging from sciatica and peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes like carpal tunnel syndrome to muscle atrophy and imbalance.

    Dr. Kim utilizes several chiropractic adjusting techniques in the treatment of patients including Gonstead, Upper Cervical, and Flexion Distraction with Diversified being the most commonly applied technique.  He is also well trained in the use of the Sacro-Occipital, Thompson, and Activator techniques which he uses on a case by case basis.

    Dr. Kim has been in practice for 6 years during which time he has treated everyone from the elderly to infants.  He has provided care for patients with work-related injuries, personal injuries, and sports injuries as well as those who seek preventative and maintenance care.  Patients with organic disorders such as indigestion, acid reflux, asthma, and allergies are not uncommon.  His goal has always been to heal injuries, eliminate illness, restore health, and improve your quality of life.

    Dr. Kim is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and readily attends seminars and symposiums in an effort to keep abreast of the latest chiropractic developments and provide the best quality care for his patients.  He also is a frequent speaker at community health related events.

    Dr. Kim enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors, but his greatest joy is spent in the company of his wife and playing with their triplets.
